Cast Picture

Image
This the final cast for the family. Moreover, for our bedroom scene an important element was a picture frame on the bedside table, consisting of the 'Family Picture'. Here below are some pictures our cinematographer, Seemal Rizwan, took.

Therapist role

For our final scene, we needed a therapist and we asked our teacher, Ms Zahar.

Location 4

One of our scenes required a restaurant where Humna's family meets Salman's family. We asked around multiple restaurants but we ultimately decided on SOHO.

Location 3

Image
Our first scene starts off with our main character 'Humna' having fun with her friends. We decided to also film this in our college as it is suitable. Here below are some of our options for clasroom.

Location 2

Our final scene takes place in a therapists office, instead of finding an actual office we decided to film in our college's main office as it gave off the same vibe.

Location 1

Most of our scenes were filmed indoor in the main characters house. Here are the folowing pictures of the house. Bedroom Kitchen

Cast Meet

We met up at our editor Mishel Ali's house and Seemal Rizwan, our cinematographer, took pictures of the cast here are some behind the scenes of the final pictures. Our director, Mahira Ibrahim, also displayed her other role of being a Makeup Artist.

Location Scouting

Image
Me and our editor Mishel Ali went to F-11 Markaz, Islamabad, to look for locations especially for our restaurant scene to find a restaurant that is appropriate for our scene. We also asked for permission to film at the following places. Here below are 4 of the place we checked out and I will explain why we didn't/did choose the place. Gloria Jeans coffees - This was our second option for the shooting as it fit the semi formal atmosphere we were looking for although it is a cafe and not a restaurant. Roundabout Cafe - We did not choose this place because the interior was like a fast food place and not the sophisticated environment we were looking for. Nandos - Again it was very informal and not the vibe we were going for. SOHO - This became our number 1 choice because the ambience suited out scene the best and this is a restaurant.

Exposure Triangle Practical

Image
Our sir taught us the exposure triangle including Aperture, ISO and Shutter speed. This also includes White Balancing. Below is my attempt at this. Aperture Lower Aperture  Higher Aperture  White Balance 7000K  2800K Shutter speed High Shutter speed (8) Low Shutter speed (1/4000) ISO High ISO (3200) Low ISO (50)

Storyboard

Our director Mahira Ibrahim and I finished the storyboard. We are going to use this to highlight the key ideas during production and so that we have a main frame for the Film Opening.
